The Goal

At Rising Hope, we promote HOPE:

H = Humanity

Every person is a unique and wonderful individual who is created in the image of God. We must stand up for the truth, and help individuals recognize their value.

O = Overcome

There are many lies of dehumanization today, and we need to fight against them because if no one does, then dehumanization will never stop. We can help Overcome dehumanization when we promote Humanity and tell people their inherent value and also telling them The Truth–Jesus Christ and His selfless sacrifice.

P = Persevere

One day, all dehumanization will be Overcome and Humanity will be recognized, but we live in a world full of evil and we can’t just immediately stop dehumanization right now. That’s why it’s important to Persevere. Perseverance is when you try and try and try again, and you fight for what is right even when you fall down.

E = Embolden

When we Persevere and try to Overcome dehumanization and promote Humanity, this can Embolden others. Let’s say you sent a kind note to your neighbor saying how valuable they are, and that life is worth living. What if that neighbor was considering suicide? That note might Embolden them and help them realize that life really is worth living. When we are brave and take action, even in the smallest ways, it can Embolden others and change their lives and perspectives.
